The ideal candidate will lead the financial and statutory accounting for Indian entities, managing a team responsible for accurate and timely daily accounting, monthly/quarterly/annual closings, and adherence to company's high standards. This role goes beyond core accounting, as it also involves preparing financial statements, managing internal controls, supporting audits, and championing process automation and improvement initiatives.Entity Accounting Leader Responsibilities:

To lead the Financial and Statutory Accounting for Indian entities.
To supervise a small team (Associates and Accountants) performing accounting activities for Indian entities (Influential Leader).
To ensure timely, accurate, and standardized accounting activities, including day-to-day accounting, monthly/quarterly/annual closing activities, monthly balance sheet reconciliation in Black Line application, monthly flux analysis, and quarterly/year-end schedules.
To prepare financial statements as per Indian GAAP, including statutory audit schedules.
To ensure effective implementation of internal controls and support external and internal audits.
To assist the tax team in preparing various tax reports, including tax audits.
To provide leadership in developing, testing, and implementing process automation, including macros and Robotics Process Automation (RPA).
To drive process improvements to achieve productivity gains.
To assist functional leader in organizational design and planning, staffing, employee development, and performance management as an influential leader.

Bachelor of Commerce
Chartered Accountant (must)
US CPA

Experience:

Financial Accounting with IGAAP/USGAAP/IFRS (12-14 years)
Corporate/public accounting (6-8 years)
Experience in Western multinational companies (4-6 years)
Public Accounting (4-6 years)
People leadership (4+ years)

Competencies:

Highly proficient financial accountant following Ind AS, US GAAP, and IFRS.
Results-driven with strong motivation and aspirations for development.
Process-oriented mindset.
Interest in a broad array of finance disciplines.
Detailed and analytical thinker.
Proficient in SAP finance - financial accounting module.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel).
Excellent communication skills.
Highly collaborative with the ability to work across levels and roles.
Fluent in English (written and verbal).
People leadership and project management skills.
