Job Description:Key responsibilities • Develop and implement a comprehensive operations excellence strategy to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all aspects of supply chain and contract logistics operations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and execute process improvement projects, leveraging methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, and Agile to achieve measurable results.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, department heads, and operational teams to define performance metrics, set targets, and establish KPIs to monitor and measure progress towards operational excellence goals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to project teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, adherence to project timelines and budgets, and successful project delivery.
  • Drive change management initiatives to foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Develop and implement standardized processes, procedures, and best practices for supply chain and contract logistics operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer requirements.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and partners, to drive collaboration and alignment on operational excellence initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in supply chain management and contract logistics, recommending innovative solutions to drive operational excellence and competitive advantage.
  • Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management on the progress, impact, and ROI of operations excellence initiatives and project implementations
QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in supply chain and logistics operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role focused on operations excellence and project management in contract logistics.
  • Proven track record of driving operational excellence, process improvements, and project implementations in a complex and dynamic environment.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain and logistics processes, including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, and order fulfillment, in the context of contract logistics.
  • Expertise in project management methodologies, tools, and techniques, with certifications such as PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or Agile preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate, and influence cross-functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of translating business needs into actionable plans and delivering measurable results.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
