- Ownership of End to End development and Delivery of Tooling for BIW Systems
- Work with various stake holders to drive the strategy of BIW tooling and its execution
- Ensuring key business inputs are considered and understood to drive the localization strategies and execution
- Supporting new programs with timely delivery of aggregates to meet the program expectations in terms of cost, quality and time.
- Develop the parts using latest Tooling technologies & Systems to meet the “First Time Right Products”
- Develop Tool room monitoring system for the aggregate of ownership item
- Develop Agreement of Inspection & Improve supplier Cost of Quality by optimising the inspection NVA.
- Monitor & improve supplier parts PPM /Vendor Parts Quality through Supplier site process & Product audits
- Develop & drive BIW Quality maturation for step through improvements in Build and Craftsmanship
- Conduct Manufacturing Site assessments and expedite ECN implementations. Setting up In-house and Supplier Quality systems and processes ,Carry out APQP, PPAP / Phase-wise PPAP / Run @ Rate
- Establish CTQ parameters and monitor adherence

- Thorough knowledge of manufacturing process of Sheet Metal stampings, Assy and Tool Design with maturation
- Relevant experience of Tool development of Skin Panel, Structural parts, Fabricated sheet metal assemblies , Hybrid material fabrication and delivery role
- Knowledge of BIW DVPs & Testing specification
- Knowledge in Homologation & Crash standard
- Should have knowledge and understanding of Tooling and manufacturing processes
- Start-to-finish BIW parts ownership: Specification, prototype manufacturing, component validation
- Should be able to do tolerance stack up GDT
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders in matrix structure
- Deep knowledge and process know how of Body Panel Proving and quality maturation
- Sound knowledge Sheet metal forming , especially Presses and light weighting technologies
- Ability to adopt to the changes happening in this space
- Self-drive, self-sufficient with minimum guidance, team player
