Responsible for all fixed asset sub-ledgers in the system. Posting and filing of additions, disposals, transfers, asset changes, and all sub-ledger monthly and annual job postings. Review, route, manage and report capital project approval requests. Manages all corporate capital projects from budget to roll-up. Compile, review, and report monthly capital spending and the status of major capital projects to upper management and internal audit. Manage the annual capital budget process by supplying the operations team with budget templates, summaries of proposed spend, and depreciation and amortization budgets. Month-end work including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and completion of other ad hoc requests. Preparation of monthly capital spending pages in the financial package and quarterly companywide capital presentation for executives, assists with capex pages for BOD meetings. Ensures Asset Compliance With Company Policies, GAAP Requirements And coordinates internal and external audits. Completion of quarter-end and yearend tax ledger schedules for gain/loss, asset, and intangible transactions, property tax reports, depreciation, and amortization. Coordinates the monthly review of capital spending, including the status of projects and various issues. Provides monthly capital management summary for the meetings and acts as an ongoing resource to the plant controllers, engineering team, and operations management. Completes capital lease analysis and reporting. Requirements Proficient with fixed asset tracking systems Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; especially should have in-depth knowledge and experience in MS Excel (advanced) and should be good in Power Point Excellent organizational skills Deadline-oriented and ability to multi-task Ability to demonstrate leadership in teamwork and complex assignments.
