Zonal Logistics Manager to support sales and dealers in sales orders processing and logistics.Job Responsibilities:
Order Planning & Management and Regional coordination
- Supervision of orders send by dealers/Sales team on daily basis
- Coordinate with sales team to get the orders as directive from Zonal/Regional Sales Manager
- Coordinate with Plant Logistics Team to invoice Stock Transfer Orders and Dealer orders where funds and stocks are available.
- Monitor Invoice to delivery performance of vehicles invoiced from plant
- Coordinate with insurance companies and finance team to settle dealers claim as per defined timeline
- Coordinate with insurance company to settle intransit accident/damage claims raised by dealers
- Dealership visit on monthly basis
- Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations with internal stake holders, Logistics service providers, dealers and customers
- Implement logistics principles, policies and processes to improve operational and financial performances
- Deliver solutions to logistics problems while maintaining high levels of quality and service within the budgetary requirements
- Monitor delivery performances from Invoice to delivery and logistics cost for both internal and external services
- Recommend optimal transport modes, routes to achieve the desired delivery performance
- Monitor and improve logistics service provider performance on weekly, monthly and yearly frequency
- Ensure carriers compliance with company policies or procedures for vehicle transit or delivery
- Review impact of logistics changes in the form of routing, transportation modes or carriers and inform to all stake holders
- Conduct periodic inventory audit with internal and external agency to maintain inventory accuracy at RSO
- Keep track of slow moving and obsolete stock for optimal utilization of yard space
- Interpret trends and analyse data to improve customer service and cost improvements
- Ensure metrics, reports and process documentation are in place as per company guidelines
- Ensure vehicles are transported appropriately to ensure safe delivery at dealers/customers end
- Ensure vehicles get delivered as per company specified Standard Transit Time
- Ensure compliance to be maintained at every logistics process
- Monitor and reduction of RSO operation cost

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with all connected with the logistics process especially with Plant Logistics Team, Dealers, Logistics Service Providers and internal sales team.
- Coordinate with RSO Logistics service provider for completed orders and dispatched & delivered on time
- Support and guide dealers for faster submission of all relevant documents
- Coordinate with Insurance Cell team for faster settlement of insurance claims
- Apprise dealers on logistics performance on periodic basis
- Solve dealers query within prescribed time frame
- Management skills with the ability to optimize team performance and development
- Good communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, analytical and planning skills with the ability to handle multiple projects at a time
- Sound commercial and financial acumen
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including knowledge and understanding of ERP/SAP system
- Sound MS office skills – Excel and Power Point
- Prior experience of working in Logistics/Distribution function in Automotive company
